Leadership Development Instructor

Design Dept. is looking for a passionate facilitator to help us create and deliver on learning experiences that foster creative, resilient leadership in tech.

You have management and leadership experience in a creative field and are passionate about investing in our community to develop strong leaders.

You are available to travel several days per month for workshop destinations.
You’ll be responsible for training executives, managers, and individual contributors in leadership, management, and communication skills.
You’ll be responsible for the research and development of new curriculum.
You’ll be responsible for partnering with clients to identify needs, develop, and facilitate custom curriculum.
You’ll be responsible to acquiring and building new client relationships.
When you’re not teaching, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to other Design Dept. projects and initiatives, including our community development, programs for underrepresented minorities, and more.
Degree in design, technology or psychology
5+ years of operational/management experience in a creative role
2+ years training experience and strong facilitation skills
Experience working in or with start ups
Experience in a client-facing role
Fluent in Keynote, InDesign and other communication design tools
